Following the escalation of conflict in the Middle East, families are facing unimaginable hardship.
In Lebanon, more than 1.2 million people have fled their homes, with thousands killed or injured as strikes regularly hit the south, the Bekaa and Beirut, but also other areas in across the country. Thanks to the steadfast support of the Catholic community, we have already sent £467,210 to our trusted partners in Lebanon, including Caritas Lebanon, who are providing urgent aid to families in crisis.
Our colleague Fadi in Lebanon said: "With your support, we are providing life-saving food, essential items like blankets and mattresses, safe water and shelter to families caught up in the conflict. We are here because no one should have to face violence alone."
